With my new career, calls for a whole new look, not just in clothing but in makeup and appearance as well. The attire is black with a pop of white. Or black pants and white top but normally I wear a black jacket over my white top. I think it just looks classier. It is a more polished look with a jacket.
But anyway, I was reading through the policy manual about appearance and attire. A natural classic look with the makeup, jewelry (only one ring per hand, no dangling earrings, and keep the bracelets and necklaces to a minimum), natural nail color or french manicure, short manicured nails. These folks are serious. 🙂 I love it!
So, I purchased my first Estee Lauder product; a nail polish in Ballerina Pink in Pure Color.
It is weird but my so-called eczema has cleared up too. I have been treating it with some medicated lotions though so that may have something to do with it. Plus, I’m not as stressed out. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not but I am not picking at my nails and cuticles anymore.
The only thing I am concerned with is my hair. In the manual it states no bright hair such as pink, blue, or purple. While my hair is not bright, it is still blue. However, the Estee Lauder account executive who interviewed me said nothing about my hair. I think she even liked it. And my area coordinator said not to worry about it when I asked about going to Dallas for my training from the Jo Malone London people directly. So, we shall see. It is NOT bright blue and my whole head is not blue either, just a little in the front and it is so dark blue that it is subtle. I think I’ll be fine though. I get compliments on it ALL the time.
Anyway, that’s it. I just wanted to show off my new nail color. 🙂
Thanks for reading and show me your moxie!
