CrossFit, Year Two Coming Up

Here I go talking about CrossFit again. I have a feeling I’ll be blogging and writing about it a lot from now on.

Things have changed with CrossFit. Things are about to get real. At least I hope so. At least that is my goal and vision.

I’ve been “doing” CrossFit for a year now. Well, in October it will be a year and I’ve decided to renew. The Gent and I decided that I would renew my membership. No, he won’t be doing CrossFit with me, sadly. But we made the decision together for me to renew my membership with CrossFit now that it is no longer a benefit from work.

The Gent said he knows how important CrossFit is to me and he told me he’s noticed a difference in my attitude about things in general. I’m not so stressed out and I seem to enjoy life more these days.

So, with that being said, now that we are paying for the benefit of CrossFit ourselves, it is time for me to get serious! Not that I wasn’t serious before, this whole previous year. But I’d say I was more cautious and treading lightly this first year. I was trying to get my CrossFit legs, so to speak.

CrossFit Health Wellness Transformations will be happening with a fury from here on out. At least that is my wish and hope. I am going to do all that I can to dedicate myself to CrossFit and learning all that I can and becoming fit and healthy.

My eating habits are about to change too. I will cut out sugar again and I’m signing up for the Whole Life Challenge (tomorrow – it begins September 13). It is my first time participating.

I am extremely excited over the fact that I will get to keep my CrossFit activity. I plan to write more about my experiences this year. I will be setting some specific goals, such as being able to climb that rope all the way to the top. That is one of my major goals! It will be interesting to track my progress via my blog. And in the meantime, I hope to recruit some new CrossFitters along the way.
