Fit at Fifty


June 1st will set off my transformation challenge – Fit at Fifty. This December, I will turn the big 5-0. I can’t believe it but I also want to be able to say that I am in the best possible shape at the age of 50.

Therefore, I am going to embark on a challenge, set for only myself, to buckle down and eat healthy and clean and to commit myself 100% to CrossFit and my coaches. My plan is to record it all here on the blog in the Grit category.

Most of you know, already, that I work out on a regular basis now – that I belong to a CrossFit box and check in religiously on my Facebook page. And from time to time, I share my WODs here on the blog.

My eating habits are something less than desirable, though. So, as of June 1st, I pledge and promise to myself that I will buckle down, take it more seriously and get the rest of this fat off and commit more to CrossFit in getting fit.

I may not be able to post every single week but I am sure I can post at least once a month.

Now I just need a clever hashtag. #Fit50 is already out there and in full swing. I suppose I could tag along with this pre-existing hashtag but I kind of would like one all of my own. So I need your help.
