Say Hello to a New Year 2020

goodbye 2019, hello 2020

Well, yes, it is that time of the year where we all reflect back over our year and try to look forward to a New Year.  Say hello to a New Year 2020.

Gracie (my daughter) and I look back at our year and then make predictions for 2020 over at our podcast titled More ReMarks.

Now, for the things I didn’t talk about on the podcast that I would personally like to see happen or accomplish in 2020.

Handstand Walk – I would like to be able to do a handstand walk, even if it is just a few feet. I have a plan in place and I am currently taking action on this plan.

More Wall Balls – I don’t think I have done wall balls all year in the garage gym. So I want to program in more wall balls.

Ohio Visit– I would like to get up to Ohio SOON to visit my grandmother and other family members.

Another obstacle race – of course, do another obstacle race like the Tough Mudder.

Read some books – I haven’t read a book in ages! So I guess I am feeling guilty for not reading a book in a long time.

Blog more – I always want to be able to blog more. Duh. Create a schedule or calendar and stick to it.

A new job – have something in the works that I cannot discuss right now. So, for now, fingers-crossed and prayer requests please.

So that’s it for now I guess. Since becoming a parent and having outgrown my youth, I don’t make serious resolutions anymore like I did back when I was a twenty-something-year-old-know-it-all. I am simply grateful for being able to get through the day with no drama or stress. Any day that I am upright and breathing is a good day and an accomplishment. Am I right?

  1. I do not make resolutions anymore either! Some things I would love to work on is: weight loss (me and millions of people) Setting goals for at lease 10 pounds then after reaching that goal another 10.
I, to want to read more books. I think I read 4 books last year. I love history and biography (not crazy about non fiction)
I want to work on being a better person. Quest: why am I here? What does God want me to do?
Be a better housekeeper lol, I just am lazy! I love sitting on the couch with Doodles on my lap
    Keeping in touch with family.
