    Tweeting Fiction

    Last night, right before I signed off for the evening, I had an interesting and fleeting thought. Although, since I am still thinking about it this morning, I suppose it’s not so fleeting anymore. But here it is, what if my main character had a Twitter account? What would Hope Noelle tweet about? Are there other authors out there who created fake Twitter accounts for their characters? Or am I just crazy in thinking about this idea? Surely, I am not alone or the first who wants to do this? Wouldn’t it be a great way to promote the book? I’d just have to be careful and not get obsessed…

    So I decided I had had enough with Facebook and all that comes with it and I’ve been limiting my time over there. However, I’m all up in a Twitter. You should be too. It is so awesome! You know those people who are always writing and jotting down notes here and there on scrap pieces of paper, napkins, their hand, or whatever is nearby at the time?     I’m Out

    For the last few months or so I have dabbled with the idea of leaving social media all together. Well, at least the Facebook portion of social media anyway. It has turned into nothing but a cesspool of high anxiety self-absorbed egotistical maniacs with an opinion on everything under the sun and who try to pass themselves off as some sort of expert along the way. Each and every one of them wanting to be louder than the next. Then Sandy Hook happened.

    Hey there ya’ll. How are my little love bunnies doing today? Me? I’ve been better but that’s beside the point. It doesn’t matter. I was going to get on here and write about the bombarding awesomeness I receive from Twitter and Facebook but then thought better of it. I’ll move on. So, summer is almost upon us.
