No, I’m not talking about this office, I’m talking about my office and how I am actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after having four days off.
I’m looking forward to getting back to some sort of normalcy, a routine, something I am familiar with and knowing what is expected of me so I can deliver.
While having four days off was nice, it’s about enough for me. I need to get back to my routine and schedule, my comfort zone so to speak.
My office is a nice one too. That is the picture of it above. I really couldn’t ask for a better place to work. I have the best bosses ever. As long as I get my work done, I don’t believe they mind me working on my writing so long as it doesn’t dominate my work time. I’ve shared my writing with them.
So yeah, I really can’t complain although sometimes I do but it’s just superficial stuff and usually blows over within a day or two.
Tomorrow is Wednesday and I can’t wait to get back in the office so I can get some work accomplished, feel useful, and get back on my regular schedule and routine. It makes me feel grounded and keeps me focused. I can’t believe I am typing this out loud.
Wait until The Gent reads this, he’ll have a field day with it and never let me live it down because now it’s out there for the Internet to see – that I like going to work. Heh.
Embrace it, Carol, embrace it.
