ReMarkables

ReMarkables – I thought I would do a life-blog update for you all, in one post. So here it is, ReMarkables; what I’ve been up to and what I may have planned.

ReMarkables 1 – I am writing at The Victory Girls Blog nowadays and it is glorious. Scary but glorious. It challenges me, in the best way. The team is organized and has deadlines and on a mission to save America. It’s not a paid gig and I am okay with that too. I love it.

ReMarkables 2 – I became an admin and wig reviewer for TL Wigs, LLC. So you’ll see that I brought back my YouTube channel. Right now she (Traci Laird) only has the private Facebook group but her e-commerce online retail boutique website should be up by the end of the month.

ReMarkables 3 – I’ve been training to run the Columbus, Ohio Hot Chocolate 10K taking place on November 20th. I am running it with my sister. And actually, I’ve rather enjoyed running. I have never been a runner but I’ve found myself liking it. Must be the shoes. Brooks Ghosts are the best and keep my knees in tact. I think I will continue to run when the race is over.

ReMarkables 4 – The Gent and I are rolling back our trips to Tunica. MGM Goldstrike sold their property to the Cherokee National Entertainment Gaming Holdings for $450 million. The turnover will take place January 2023. So, no more comped rooms for us. For now anyway. There’s always the Horseshoe next door who is a Caesars property.

ReMarkables 5 – I have been experimenting with daily episodes for the podcast. They are short and that’s okay. It keeps me from rambling all over the place and I feel more focused doing dailies.

ReMarkables 6 – Participated in Alice in Wonderland’s Experience that took place in Huntsville and hosted by the Clued App App. A friend of mine asked me because they were looking to create a team. Our team name was Mad About Alice. The event was a scavenger hunt in downtown Huntsville. It was fun! My featured image is me as the Mad Hatter and I won Best Solo Costume!

ReMarkables 7 – The holidays are coming up and I don’t know how I feel about the upcoming festivities, or lack thereof. I was all excited for Thanksgiving; with having the kids and GRANDBABY over. But then I found out my son and his family are going to Arizona for Thanksgiving. I forget that my daughter-in-law still has family out there. Ooops. But that’s okay. I understand and it will be okay. I mean The Gent and I did skip out on everyone last Christmas by going to Vegas. Soooo, I know other people will have other plans from time to time.

Well, I guess that’s enough for now. Thanks for visiting and reading.
