Ya’ll need to leave Sandy alone. If you haven’t heard by now, Michael Oher is suing the family who took him into their home and helped him get into Ole Miss, which led to his NFL career. A movie was made about it, and it was called The Blind Side. And now dumbasses on the internet are calling for Sandra Bullock to give back her Oscar for portraying Leigh Anne Touhy.
First, Sandra Bullock is grieving the loss of her long-time partner, who died earlier in the month.
Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner Bryan Randall died over the weekend, his family revealed in a statement to PEOPLE on Monday. He was 57.
“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” his family shared. “Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.” – People Magazine
I had no idea about her partner having ALS. So sad. People need to back up off of Sandy.
And second, to even suggest she give back her Oscar is ridiculous and unrelated to any of what Michael Oher and the Touhys are going through right now, either!
Bitches, please. Back off from Sandy! It’s not her doing. >> Mob Rages at Sandra Bullock over ‘The Blind Side’ Controversy: ‘Give Her Oscar Back’ https://t.co/vT7umZ2VMz via @BreitbartNews

Michael Oher is claiming, and now suing, the Touys tricked him into thinking he was adopted and only did it to take advantage of his name and likeness so they could make millions of dollars off his back.
The Touys were already rich from having 60+ fast food chains, making millions and even more after selling most of them off. So they don’t need to steal whatever Michael is claiming.
And according to this article, Sean Touhy is finally speaking out and telling us more.
“We didn’t make any money off the movie. Well, Michael Lewis, gave us half of his share. Everybody in the family got an equal share, including Michael. It was about $14,000, each.” – celebritynetworth.com
And more
“We contacted lawyers who had told us that we couldn’t adopt over the age of 18. The only thing we could do was to have a conservatorship. We were so concerned it was on the up-and-up that we made sure the biological mother came to court.”
That does seem to make sense. As for why he needed to be in a conservatorship or adopted at all, Sean claimed it had to do with the fact that he was a booster at Mississippi and Michael got into the school as a legacy. So NCAA rules required there to be some formal/legal connection.
Michael is also claiming he didn’t know he was not “adopted” and didn’t know it was a conservatorship. However, he wrote a book in 2011 that says differently.
“There was one major event that happened right after I graduated high school: I became a legal member of the Tuohy family. It felt kind of like a formality, as I’d been a part of the family for more than a year at that point,” he wrote.
“Since I was already over the age of eighteen and considered an adult by the state of Tennessee, Sean and Leigh Anne would be named as my ‘legal conservators.’ They explained to me that it means pretty much the exact same thing as ‘adoptive parents,’ but that the laws were just written in a way that took my age into account.
“Honestly, I didn’t care what it was called. I was just happy that no one could argue that we weren’t legally what we already knew was real: We were a family.” – Fox News
The whole thing is sad. If you ask me, it sounds like Michael Oher has been watching a little too much of Colin Kaepernick.
