Sylvester “Sly” Stallone was the celebrity who introduced Donald Trump last night at the Mar-a-Lago America First Policy Conference. The actor who played Rocky Balboa called Donald Trump, the second George Washington, during an introduction speech for the President-elect Donald Trump.

You have to admit, it feels like this second go-round with Donald Trump does seem revolutionary. The people he’s nominated thus far are not your usual status-quo career politician.
Vim & Vigor
Most are young, and I would say that all of them are considered disrupters. These fresh faces with Patriotic hearts are precisely what we need. This new administration is like nothing I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. I love every minute of it.
Since the evening of November 5, 2024, I have woken up every morning with renewed vigor. Quite frankly, I am astonished and grateful that the American people won. It is quite something to behold.
How would you grade Donald Trump’s proposed new cabinet appointments so far? pic.twitter.com/PlQcMoMiv7

The Rocky actor hasn’t been shy about expressing his political preferences. This newest article from Breitbart, though, sheds some more light on Sly’s personal life at a young age. WOW!
While Stallone kept to the shadows throughout the election, he did show signs of Republican support through his moving to Florida.
He also showed signs of being pro-life when he talked how his mother nearly aborted him. He offered his shocking confession when speaking with his daughters, Sophia and Sistine, on their Unwaxed podcast about the new documentary SLY, which focuses on his life story. – Breitbart
Oh, there’s more in that article. It makes me want to watch Sly’s documentary with reasonable caution now. I need to prepare myself to have my heart hurt for Sly.
Sylvester “Sly” Stallone opened his speech by describing the beginning of Rocky Balboa’s journey, using words and phrases like “Jesus Christ” and “resurrection.”
Listen and watch for yourself:
I remember a year ago when Donald announced he’d be running again, and some MAGA groupies started making AI-generated images of Donald in various ways. He was in cowboy/outlaw attire, seen with an angle over him, and wearing a Superman cape. I also remember some conservatives and Republicans losing their minds over it. They didn’t like it.
But I digress.
Who We Have So Far
Sometimes, I think about those people when I hear about new cabinet nominees like Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth. Admittingly, I was confused and shocked too, but then after I thought about it for a short little while, I thought, “YES, why the eff not?! It’s what the people voted for, damn it! Never forget that.”
So, who are the new Donald disciples? While they are not new to the public, the offices they are about to enter are new to them.
Here is where we are at so far with the calvary!
Chart via Axios 11/12/2024
My favorite was his first pick, Susie Wiles, for Chief of Staff. Tom Homan is another fantastic choice, too. I’m not unhappy about Pete Hegseth, either. And Matt Gaetz, come on. Say what you want, but I like it. Now, will he get confirmed? We shall see. The scuttlebutt is that he won’t. I couldn’t be more happy about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. getting the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Get ’em, Bobby!
Donald Trump only has four years to get stuff done. Of course we also have the Senate and Congress, for now. So let’s readjust that to only two years to implement his plan. Let’s hope he keeps all of his promises. I also hope he sets up the next few decades for success with the people he surrounds himself with and puts in Washington, DC.
Let’s roll!
