Carol ReMarks on aggressive niceness. There is an ugly opinion piece over at the LA Times, typed-up by a person named Virginia Heffernan. It’s apparent she hates people being nice to her and especially if they are Trump supporters.
Carol ReMarks on Aggressive Niceness
The first thing Heffernan makes clear is that she wants to resist unity. And because her Trumpite neighbors did a good deed, they obviously must be Nazis, real Nazis.
You know, because her Trumpite neighbors were nice enough to plow her driveway.
After all of her wailing and gnashing, showing her racism, lumping in Trump supporters with terrorists, and claiming they aided and abetted in murdering a lot of Americans she ends with this….
But I can offer a standing invitation to make amends. Not with a snowplow but by recognizing the truth about the Trump administration and, more important, by working for justice for all those whom the administration harmed. Only when we work shoulder to shoulder to repair the damage of the last four years will we even begin to dig out of this storm.
LA Times, Virginia Heffernan
Heffernan does not want to work shoulder to shoulder. She said so in the previous sentence. Her Trumpite neighbors have to denounce everything, conform to Heffernan’s way of thinking, before she would consider that.
What a crock of crap.
This is a small sampling of what I have noticed in all the dangerous language being thrown around by the high influencers of the left; AOC, Pelosi, Don Lemon and the like.
It is distressing and shameful how brazen their language and rhetoric has become and especially how quickly it has been set in motion.
Some examples would be Pelosi calling for Trump to be charged with murder or AOC suggesting Ted Cruz tried to kill her. And now this paranoid zealot in LA who is obviously terrified of nice people and who just admitted she wants to resist unity? SMH
Pay attention to the language being used and do not readily dismiss it as over-exaggerated silliness. I take them very seriously. I believe what they are telling us.
Take Chuck Schumer for instance when he said Nothing was off the table…
Schumer has not ruled out trying to get rid of the filibuster if Democrats are able to win the majority. Asked about the filibuster during a radio interview in August, Schumer said Democrats would “do what it takes” to enact their agenda if they win the Senate and Biden wins the White House.
“What we are saying, what I am saying, is … we have a moral imperative to the people of America to get a whole lot done if we get the majority, which God willing we will, and keep it in the House, and Biden becomes president, and nothing is off the table,” Schumer said in August.
The Hill, Jordain Carney
Schumer is talking about all of it; adding states to the union in order to gain more electoral votes and number of Democratic senators, doing away with the filibuster, packing courts, and more. Whatever it takes to change America.
Do you remember when you thought that was crazy-talk? Well folks, it is here.
Buckle up.
