Dave Portnoy is a Swifty-Boy

Dave Portney has proven himself a sissy Swifty-boy. He used to be known for the one-bite pizza reviews, and of course, we all know he is the founder of Barstool Sports. On occasion, he goes online to live rant about sports or politics. Some of his rants are loud and quite spirited.

Oh, and Dave’s Barstool Sports made the Call Her Daddy podcast famous, by the way. The two chicks who started the podcast in 2018 about silly sexual stuff and jokes piqued Dave’s attention when he acquired it just months after the two roommates began it.

Here is El Presidente with a somewhat tame, although braggadocious, name-dropping (Billy Joel) video about his elitist lifestyle. While trying to be humble and sing Taylor’s praises, he mentions that he could probably get a regular Taylor Swift fan banned from future concerts. Classy Dave.

Dude, what is with all the silly bracelets? You are a 47-year-old male getting all giddy over some over-hyped-got-lucky-no-talent singer with an average voice, at best. It’s gross how he is gushing over the 34-year-old girl who wears spangled majorette outfits on stage while she sings about some stupid ex-boyfriend. Dave, even when she eventually drops Travis, she won’t date you.

Keep your distance from a 47-year-old male wearing all those teeny-bopper bracelets. I don’t care how much money he has.

Be Better

And Dave, instead of bragging about how you could get Taylor Swift banned from future concerts because she said something about you, why don’t you use your millions of dollars to buy her some tickets? Seeing as how you are a multi-million dollar guy who probably didn’t have to pay to go to the concert, I mean if you want to preach about love.

While Dave loves going to Taylor Swift concerts and thinks she is a fantastic performer, he doesn’t want her hanging out in the sports arena. Recently, Dave had some not-so-nice things to say about the NFL saturating fans with Taylor Swift appearances.

Dave reminds me of a fair-weather friend. But aren’t they all? And by all, I mean celebrity types. It doesn’t matter if they are actors, singers, or influencers—they are all fickle. The Barstool Sports founder admits to doing anything for clicks. His obsession with Justin Bieber has now transferred to Taylor Swift.

Just a Theory

Do you know what all of this highlights to me? FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, FAKE. Not in the sense that she didn’t send him a note. I believe she did. But was it sincere or just a publicity stunt? All of these famous people live their lives in front of the public. Nothing is honest about them.

Swift is an outspoken advocate of feminism and female equality. She is a sexual assault victim who has supported the defense of other victims through her stated donations to advocacy organizations. She has featured transgender and lesbian performers in music videos, making her a popular figure in the gay community.

Portnoy is none of those things.

The founder and current owner of Barstool Sports has been known to use misogynistic language, mock women’s appearances, and promote a “boys will be boys” mentality that resonates with Barstool’s largely young, male audience. Portnoy was once accused by multiple women of subjecting them to “violent and humiliating” sex. – The Big Lead

Dave attended two Taylor Swift concerts. He loves her and is a big fan. She sends him a handwritten note. So what?

Portnoy could represent another Howard Stern or Jimmy Kimmel who have bent themselves into effeminate caricatures so they can still get that paycheck. Maybe Dave is doing the same thing. These men, who have pasts where they have dogged women so horribly, are trying to stay relevant in 2024.

They are so afraid of being Weinsteined that they contorted into delicate pansies.

This is all speculation and theory on my part, by the way—just an opinion.
