Lara Trump Might Be Speaker Of The House?

Could Lara Trump be our next Speaker of the House? She just pulled her name out of the running for the vacated Senate seat in Florida. I just read this over at Red State, and while reading it, I thought she was gunning for the Speakership.

I am probably dead wrong, even though she said she has a big surprise to announce in January.

Lara Trump announced Saturday that she is pulling her name out of consideration for the Senate seat being vacated by Florida’s Marco Rubio (R), who – assuming he is confirmed – will become Donald Trump’s secretary of state. – RedState

The Speaker came to my mind only because Steve Bannon was on Megyn Kelly’s SiriusXM show on Friday and jokingly, or not jokingly, urged Megyn Kelly to throw her name in the hat for the Speaker. I think he was dead serious.

I’d go for Megyn as Speaker. And I am just totally joking about Lara Trump seeking the job. But I do wonder what her big announcement in January will be.

Let’s imagine for a minute, have some fun, and take a few guesses.

Here are some possibilities of what Lara Trump’s big announcement will be in January 2025.

Maybe she’s following in Matt Gaetz’s footsteps. He has landed himself a show over on OAN. I could see Lara Trump doing the same. She already has a podcast. If she doesn’t want to run in politics anymore, why not host a show on OAN? The right-wing network might be looking to up their game and thinking that taking on well-known names as show anchors could do the job.

Maybe she is simply returning to the Trump Organization. It isn’t very likely, but I’m sure it’s an option for her. I don’t know how exciting an announcement that will be, though.

I also don’t believe any announcement about starting a new business, political strategist, think tank or social media entrepreneur will happen. She’s pretty much doing all of those things already.

Maybe she’s pregnant again? Doubtful. She’s 42 years old, and while that can still happen at that age, I don’t see this as the big announcement either.

Maybe she should collaborate with her brother Don Jr., who is joining 1789 Capital, an anti-ESG asset company that invested in Tucker Carlson’s media company. Of course, if she pursues this avenue, the team won’t announce that these things are connected. Instead, the project will be promoted as her own.

This makes me think that maybe she is working on another album or going on tour with her music. Just a few months ago, in September, it was reported repeatedly that Lara was still trying to make her music career take off. Man, oh man, did she ever get panned by everyone.

Well, that’s all I have for Lara’s future employment possibilities unless she starts a new fitness craze or business. I can see that. Perhaps she and Jillian Michaels will partner up to do something and maybe work in Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s office of MAHA?!

We will all find out next month what her big announcement will be. Stay tuned.
