Steve Bannon Vs Elon Musk

Steve Bannon VS Elon Musk – what’s really going on here?

Steve Bannon seems to have a personal vendetta against Trump’s latest right-hand man, Elon Musk. On the surface, it might seem that Steve is just jealous. But Does Steve have a point? His main issue seems to be Elon’s stance on immigration.

Steve Bannon vows to take Elon Musk down.

In an escalation of discontent among the highest-profile far-right followers of Donald Trump, his former adviser Steve Bannon has called Trump’s newest favorite, Elon Musk, “racist” and a “truly evil guy”, pledging to “take this guy down” and kick him out of the Maga movement.

In an interview with the Corriere della Sera newspaper in Italy, excerpts of which were published this weekend by Breitbart, Bannon criticised Musk’s embrace of some forms of immigration and vowed to ensure that Musk does not have top-level access to the White House.

“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon said. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it – I’m not prepared to tolerate it any more.”

He added: “I will have Elon Musk run out of here by inauguration day”, which falls on 20 January. “He will not have full access to the White House. He will be like any other person.” – The Guardian

Well, Steve, you’ve got one week to get Elon “out of here,” big guy. But honestly, I don’t think Steve has the clout he believes he does anymore.

Steve Bannon

Steve Bannon was part of Donald Trump’s official administration. From January 2017 to August 2017, he served as the president’s Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor. Bannon significantly shaped the administration’s early policies, particularly in immigration, trade, and populist messaging. However, he left the administration in August 2017 after tensions arose between him and other key figures in the White House.

One could surmise that Bannon was and still is a Trump loyalist. We all know how Donald feels about his people staying loyal to him. And after all, Steve Bannon did go to prison for a short stint regarding the January 6 Capitol riots. He refused to comply with a subpoena from the House Select Committee, claiming executive privilege even though he no longer worked for Trump. He was sentenced to four months in prison.

The Bannon versus Musk feud centers around Elon’s support for H-1B visas, which allow companies to hire skilled workers from outside the U.S. I’m not sure how this makes Elon a “truly evil racist.” Still, if it does, then Melania Trump should be considered one, too—and Donald, for that matter, since he married her. Melania came to the U.S. in the 1990s to work as a model, using an H-1B visa. She later became a U.S. citizen in 2006.

All Hype

I’ve always considered Steve Bannon a loose cannon, although I like him. He is not a politician. Bannon is better off focusing on being a voice in the media and using it to hold people accountable. It’s like he takes a big bite but only uses a small part of it to make his point.

So, while it seems like he’s going after Elon, it might just be a way to highlight how Elon has almost stolen the spotlight from Trump, causing a shift back to what’s important now that Trump has been elected.

It is probably time for Elon to take a few steps back. After all, he is a busy man with his other businesses. Trump needs to keep him close, though.

The bottom line is that Steve should step aside—it’s not like he has any real power left. I’d love to ask him how he plans to stop Elon from getting anywhere near the White House.

As for Elon, I don’t want him setting up camp there, either. He’s served his purpose, and I’ll give him a well-earned “atta boy.” But now it’s time for him to focus on his business and stay out of politics. Now, each of you guys go back to your corners. It’s now time for Trump to really shine.
