The Next James Bond Is…

James Bond

And the next James Bond is…

We don’t know who will play the new James Bond yet. We thought we knew a few months ago with rumors swirling around about Aaron Taylor Johnson having the job already bagged.

But not so fast. A recent article from UK’s Express has a new fan favorite in Henry Cavill. What? I don’t think so. First, I want the next 007 to be played by a British actor, not an American. I don’t know who this Aaron Taylor-Johnson fellow is, but I’ve asked around, and most men say they could see him playing the role.

Betway Casino conducted new research analysing the number of Google searches, articles, article engagement and Reddit mentions for 31 potential actors, revealing who has generated the most hype online and is therefore the fan favourite to play Bond next.

And while Taylor-Johnson came second, the internet’s choice for the next 007 is Henry Cavill. – Express

Sidenote: I’ve written about James Bond before about how The Gent and I watched all the Bond movies in order of when they were made. It was epic, and I recommend you watch the movies in order, too. We watched one per weekend, sometimes two, and had the best time watching the progression of the characters, history, storylines, and technology.

Most of the men I asked were co-workers from X, and they all seemed to know ATJ from the Kick-Ass movie. I had never heard of this movie until the James Bond rumors started.

But what about the next Bond Girl?

And if you are not following the James Bond account on X, you are missing out.

In an exclusive interview with The New York Post, Felicity Shagwell Heather Graham seems to have expressed interest in becoming a Bond Girl.

Heather is 54; I say, why not Heather? Go for it and make the rest of his 50+ gals look good.

Heather Graham left us shaken and stirred.

The actress has revealed in an exclusive interview with The Post that she’s ready to graduate from Felicity Shagwell to a Bond gal.

Graham, who stars in the new movie “Place of Bones,” out today, Friday, August 23, expressed enthusiasm to step into the 007 franchise when asked about fan sites suggesting the blonde bombshell would be a perfect Bond girl.

“Yeah, I would love to do that,” she said. “I mean, I would absolutely love to do that.” – New York Post

Heather Graham could so pull off being a Bond Girl. Yes! I am rooting for her.

While Heather would be the oldest actress to play a Bond Girl, she’s not the first older female actress to play the part.

In Spectre, Monica Bellucci was 50 years old when she played Lucia Sciarra, the wife of Spectre. So, while she may not have been the type of Bond Girl we were used to in the earlier Bond movies, I’d still consider her a Bond Girl.

I would like to ultimately see Heather’s Bond Girl character as something else. Lots of action, car chasing, fighting scenes, not so much love scenes. I’m talking like Heather already has the part, which she doesn’t. She hasn’t even auditioned for it. No talks are happening, to my acknowledgment.

There are endless possibilities for the next Bond Girl. Would you rather see a younger or more mature actress play the part? And would it depend on who plays James Bond?

While I have never seen Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s acting chops, he is British. So, the two top actors from Britain I’d like to see as Bond are this guy, Aaron, and then Idris Elba.

Here’s the problem with finding a Bond Girl to suit James Bond: It depends on the age. You don’t want to see an older Bond (Idris Elba) with a 20-something-year-old young lady. It’s an ick factor these days. I think it may have something to do with Harvey Weinstein.

Are they going to cast a young Bond or an older Bond? Once we have the answer, we can find the Bond Girl.

Oh, but wouldn’t it be saucy if the new Bond was Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 34, and Heather Graham (54) played one of the Bond Girls? YES! That would be awesome and a hit.

Someone call the casting director!
