Here’s what’s trending on Twitter right now. But of course, by the time this is published, or you read this, something else will be trending on Twitter.
#NationalMascotDay I reckon June 17th is National Mascot Day. Here in Huntsville, Alabama, we have the Trash Pandas. Yeah. I know. Stupid name. But that’s what the Huntsville people called their minor-league baseball team. Once upon a time, we had the Huntsville Stars, but they were poorly supported by the transient residents in this small town. Since they didn’t get much support, the Huntsville Stars went away for a few years. So why not bring minor league baseball back anyway. Don’t learn any lessons; spend many taxpayer dollars on building a brand-new stadium and bringing baseball back to this fickle town. But in all seriousness, I have been to a game in the new stadium, and I immensely enjoyed myself. So there.
And while this is not minor league baseball related, here is a video about the Connor McGregor mascot incident/stunt; of course, we all know NOW that he has much more to worry about than this mascot knock-out.
#BobHuggins WOW, Bob Huggins is back in the news. This time with a DUI arrest. Oops. Remember, a few months ago; he apologized for using “homophobic” slurs when he was interviewed on a Cincinnati radio show. I don’t know exactly what he said, and I tried searching Google for exactly what he said, but I don’t have time for that. I couldn’t find anything with the specifics. All I found were a bunch of offended “journalists” in shock that the coach still had a job. But maybe not anymore, with this news of a DUI.
#Caturday is the number 3 thing trending on Twitter right now. I have no idea why, except that it is Saturday. And that people are posing pictures of their cats on Twitter.
#Fetterman is trending either because he wears a hoodie and shorts to greet bumbling Joe Biden at the airport or because of his continued speech and brain problems—your new America.

#FathersDay and, of course, Father’s Day is trending. Thank goodness. Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there! Stay rugged, and please continue to be a fine example of manhood for your children.

I will be busy at the Victory Girls Blog this upcoming week. A few Victory Girls are on vacation, so I have committed to a few more writing days than usual. Whew, wish me luck!
Also, I want to blog more here on my blog too! In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve changed the look of my blog slightly. Between my blog, podcast, and newsletter, I am working on getting everything branded consistently and being able to focus on those three platforms for my online presence.
