New episode on the Podcast. Yep, I am still (steadily) keeping my podcast up-to-date with weekly episodes, published every Tuesday!
I do my podcast a little differently than most people. Instead of talking into an expensive microphone in a pristine air-tight sound booth I simply take my iPhone on-the-go with me and use my voice recorder. Which also means I rarely edit.

What do I talk about? Do I have a niche? I talk about whatever I want, another podcasting no-no. I don’t really have a niche. I podcast because I enjoy it, it’s fun for me. I talk about current events or news or politics. Sometimes I just talk about my wigs and having Alopecia.
The only thing I do try to do as far as podcasting “laws and rules” go is keeping it short and to about 20 minutes.
So what do I do? Obviously, I keep my phone with me everywhere I go because don’t we all nowadays? Everyday I try to record my remarks in a small clip about whatever headline is happening. I’ll do that all week long, everyday. Then I simply upload it to my podcast platform. Buzzsprout makes it super easy! Love them.
And that’s how I do podcasting. My way.
One more note about podcasting – the podcast is your overall show. It is where all of your EPISODES live.
Your podcast has individual installments called episodes. Each installment on your podcast is an episode. Each episode stands alone with its own title and is numbered on your podcast.
So when you hear someone say, “my latest podcast is out,” what they really mean is there is a new episode ready on their podcast.
