Fab Over 40 Contest. Okay, so I am only going to put this up once and put it out on social media once because, quite frankly, I feel silly about this contest.
Honestly, I entered it on a whim thinking it was nothing really. And when I was selected to be in the contest, I decided to read up on it and realized it was something that was legit and serious.
So here I am. The top 15 in this first round move on to the next round. Currently, there are just a little over 50 women in my group and so far I am in the top 5. I don’t expect that to last long.
I believe there are 10 days to vote and you can vote free once a day. After the 10 days, the top 15 move on to the next round. I am not sure how many rounds there are but like I said, I really don’t expect to move forward from this first round.

Hopefully I am not sounding ungrateful when I say I feel ridiculous in doing this now. But I do feel ridiculous peddling this to everyone on social media so I am going to stop.
The prize you ask? The winner gets $40,000 and a 2-page spread in New Beauty Magazine as well as a spa-vacation in a luxury resort in Arizona.
Now, I’m not gonna lie and tell you that I wouldn’t like that prize. Cause I would like that prize. I think I would especially like the 2-page spread in New Beauty Magazine.
In my profile, they asked three questions and one of the questions was, “What would you do with the $40,000 if you won?” I answered that I had no idea. Because I don’t know. Start a side-hustle? Help others? Donate? Pay off some bills? Sure. All of the above.
