Fired For Having An OnlyFans Page

You’ve seen countless stories about people getting fired for having an OnlyFans page. Here’s another. A Missouri teacher, Brianna Coppage, resigned from her job because it was found out she had an OnlyFans page.

So Brianna got another job as a community support specialist with Compass Health, not in teaching. But, she only had the new gig for five days when the company discovered their new employee had an OnlyFans page. Compass Health claims that Brianna violated their social media policy.

Coppage claims she was open and truthful about all her past job experiences and reasons for leaving but that they only did the digital background checks after they offered her the job. – New York Post

Of course, I don’t want a teacher to have an OnlyFans page. But do I have a problem with a community support specialist for some corporation having an OnlyFans page? I am not sure. My first gut reaction is no, I don’t have a problem with it. I don’t care.

When I hear the job title community support specialist, I visualize a person sitting at home, in front of their laptop, with a phone headset, answering customer calls and directing them to resolve their problem. Or are all those jobs subcontracted out to India now?

Job Description

This is some of the job description for the community support specialist from Compass Health via Google –

• Support client in completion of goals identified on Wellness Plans, reviewing the WP with client as required and as needed for updating of goals and objectives as items are achieved, or as the client’s goals change
  • Aid in accessing public services, including financial, housing, emergency assistance, food, etc.
  • Maintain contact with clients who are hospitalized, participating in discharge planning and communicating with all involved providers in developing aftercare plans
  • Provide education and skill-building in areas such as daily living skills, employment/education, symptom management, communication/relationships, budgeting, maintaining a residence, etc., with focus on movement toward independent completion of these tasks, or referral to long-term supports
  • Assist clients with developing personal support systems, including, but not limited to, work with family members, legal guardians, recovery communities, etc.

So it may be more than sitting at home, in front of the laptop, answering customer calls.

And apparently, Compass Health is desperate for employees.

As long as  Brianna isn’t telling the customer who calls in, “Hey, go check out my OnlyFans page once we hang up here,” I don’t think I have a problem with her having an OnlyFans page. But then I could be totally in the wrong here.

An Interview

Here is the Anthony Rogers Show (with the most awesome beard) interviewing Brianna, who was fired five months ago from her teaching job. But in the interview, her name is listed as “Brooklin Love,” so I don’t know. I guess Brooklin Love is her OF username?

It seems all corporations and companies have some social media policy these days. I am not sure how I feel about that either. I suppose it’s their right to do so, and one doesn’t have to agree with it, which means they’d have to turn the job offer down, and who will do that?

This is America. Yes, businesses have the right to create strict social media policies. However, individuals have the right to be free, too. So it’s a damned if you do and damned if you don’t kind of situation? Or have we become too much of a nanny state?

It is okay to have some common-sense social media policy like, “You shall not have the company’s name in your profile.” Or “You shall not use our company’s name in vain on any of your social media pages.” Of course, that makes total sense. I agree with that.

Ah, but I just looked up this little Ms Brianna Coppage on X. My God, she has no shame. She’s all out there on X airing her ass, literally. Brianna perhaps planned out this little stunt to build her OnlyFans audience. She has an account @bricoppage and another with the same profile picture under @brooklinLovexxx <- you can image.

I didn’t click on that xxx account. All I did was start typing Brookl into the search bar on X, and the next thing I knew, the xxx account auto-filled. No, I didn’t need to look at the account. I understand what xxx means.
